Love Him, Or Hate Him, But Here’s One Statistic About Jerry Jones That’s Hard To Ignore
With his team riding a six-game winning streak, Jerry Jones was the NFL’s most popular general manager. Unfortunately, that was before the happenings of Monday night.
Now, in the wake of the Cowboys’ 20-17 overtime loss to Washington, he’s back to being Jerry the centerpiece of Cowboy controversy. Did he order head coach Jason Garrett to re-insert Tony Romo into the starting lineup during the fourth quarter, or was Jones merely relaying the medical prognosis from team doctors?
Nobody knows for certain. All they do know for a fact is that the 2014 Dallas Cowboys have an 0-1 record when Jones makes an appearance on the sideline. In a league that prides itself on taking note of small details, that’s a tidbit extremely hard to ignore.
