Braiden Miller is a 2029 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Waterford, VA who attends Woodgrove. Well-proportioned, squared shouldered frame with plenty of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 7.80 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Incorporates sound footwork into the fielding process, a clean funnel out in-front and works through the baseball with good rhythm. Showed ability to change arm slots when necessary and produced online, accurate throws up to 79 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with good rhythm and tempo throughout. Used a belt high leg lift with slight coil into balance, incorporates simple drop-and-drive lower half mechanics down the slope and repeats extremely well. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the majority of his outing, showed some natural arm-side life through the zone and topped out at 80 mph from an extended three-quarters arm lot. Showed advanced feel for spin with the ability to land two distinct breaking balls, while killing spin on his changeup effectively. Commanded both sides of the plate with his fastball and landed all three of his off-speed offerings for strikes. Will continue to enhance full arsenal with additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open base with a flat, tight hand set and small stride into launch. Middle-of-the field approach with compact, line drive strike and plenty of present bat speed. Showed feel for the barrel, produced strength at impact and flashed some pullside power potential. Extremely sound fundamentals with two-way upside and offensive prowess. Named to the 2024 13U Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival.
