Jorvorskie Lane Jr. is a 2026 OF/RHP/C/IF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends O D Wyatt. An athletic build in a bigger and projectable frame. Stout & durable look. Ran a 6.84 60-yard dash. Worked out as a catcher with a lower crouch, staying low throughout. Good creep up through the motions with good athleticism that showed. Threw 78 mph down to second with a 1.92 pop time, showing off the accuracy during his round of throws. Also worked outfielder with a shorter and compact arm action who threw 87 mph across the diamond. Quick release with accuracy that improved as the round continued. Easy arm strength showed with one-hop accuracy to the plate. A right-handed hitter with higher set hands and a high back elbow. Shows good size and he separates well thru his swing, creating a ton of whip thru release. Spread and open start where he closes and lifts before swinging hard thru his finish. Bat speed showed during BP and translated in-game. He can work both halves of the zone and is able to drive the ball to both sides of the field. Utilizes his legs well as part of the swing. Explosive at times, with best contact coming to the middle of the field, but can work all over. Barreled up a triple into the backside gap in-game. Went 3-for-4 during his at-bats in-game at the event. Produced a 92 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame showing off the strength with his shorter arm stroke that had tons of quickness to it. He had a quick step into a leg lift up around the belt before working down the mound. The fastball was up to 84 mph, holding the low-80s with good life to it, running arm-side. He showed an upper-60s curveball with spin above the 2,100 RPM mark, having a good bite to it. He mixed pitches well between the two offerings, sequencing well. PItched with pace. Threw 2.0 innings of 1-hit ball, punching out 2 opposing hitters in the process. Good student. Verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
