Dru Wilson is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Porter Ranch, CA who attends Notre Dame. Features an athletic build with some present strength. Ran a 6.85 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed athletic movements. Around and through with quickness into reception. Gloved it out front and clean. Some slight regather into throws where he used a smaller crowhop. Arm showed adv. strength where he worked downhill with his throws that were one-hop accurate. At the plate, he keeps it real quiet/simple with the load showing minimal waisted movement. Quick hands threw the barrel short/direct to the baseball on a downhill path. Some trouble at deeper contact points but showed decent impact with contact out front where he backspun some quality FBs. On the mound, it's an athletic/repeatable delivery where he's an efficient mover. Rotates fast into footplant. Arm showed easy/adv. armspeed working to a lower 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up to 86 that had some natural running action. Mixed in a slurvy 10-4 breaker that flashed some sharp depth when he got on top and out front with it but backed a few up during his outing. Named to 14U Select Fest Roster.
