Brody Taylor is a 2029 OF/LHP with a 5-8 195 lb. frame from Mickleton, NJ who attends TBD. Compact, strong looking frame with tons of lean muscle throughout. Recorded a 7.49 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set and things to project on moving forward. Attacks the baseball with urgency, fields cleanly off his front foot and maintains momentum into release. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 82 mph during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with a tight hand set and subtle toe-tap trigger. Simplistic approach with direct swing path, tons of quickness to his hands and loads of strength in his hands. Uses strong lower half extremely well to generate easy leverage out in-front and flashed legitimate gap-to-gap power both during BP and in-game. Physical, young prospect with offensive prowess and additional upside. Named to the 2024 13U Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival.
