Kannon Derry is a 2029 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Clinton, TN who attends Grace Christian Academy. Smaller frame with a younger build. Ran a 7.98 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fundamentally sound working through the ball, longer arm stroke to release and clean out of the hand, good carry to his throws and arm strength showed well. Plays some first base too, clean glove and confident turns, moves well into his release and showed solid arm from multiple spots. Projectable on the mound, full arm action and fluid release, runs the fastball some and could get more on it with using lower half, slows some on a developing breaking ball. Left-handed hitter, slightly open start and good flow into his process, stays short and efficient to the ball on a slightly lifted path, on the barrel a good bit and projects well with added strength.
