Logan Schmidt is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Villa Park, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Physical frame with long levers. Ran a 7.38 in the sixty yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball with two hands out front, short arm action with a quick arm, made accurate throws with carry behind them, up to 80 mph in drills. Left handed hitter, wide base with a high hand set with a high back elbow, short hand load with a small leg lift trigger, minimal wasted movement, compact but strong swing, creates length out front with bat speed, loose and whippy barrel that stays in the zone for a long time, on the barrel often with consistent hard contact. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.
