Hudson Reed (’26, Madison, Ga.)- the 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed hitting third baseman went 5-for-6 over the weekend for Smartense The Show National. In two games, the uncommitted junior from Morgan County High School, doubled, homered and drove in four runs in seven plate appearances. Against the eventual champion Team Elite Platinum National 2025, Reed went 2-for-3 with a run batted in while tossing five innings in a start with eight strikeouts. He allowed only two earned runs in the 5-3 loss while running the fastball up to 89 mph and featuring a hard breaking ball in the high-70s. Facing a lineup filled with senior commits, Reed commanded the strike zone at a 69% clip while allowing three singles and a homerun as the only blemish during the outing.
